About

Hi, I’m Anastasia – The Flourless Explorer

I’m a teacher, a college student, a wife, and a proud bonus mom — living and thriving in beautiful Washington State.

Baking and cooking have always been more than just hobbies — they’re how I show love. Feeding people is my love language. I used to own a cozy little home bakery, pouring my heart into every cupcake and cookie… until I realized I was pouring too much of myself into everything. Like many of us, I juggled all the roles and pushed myself beyond my limits.

Now, life looks a little different. After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I had to take a hard look at the foods I loved and the way I cooked. Going completely gluten-free hasn’t been easy — but it’s been empowering. It’s another way I’m learning to care for myself, push my limits in a new way, and explore the world through a different lens.

I’ll be the first to admit: I suck at following recipes. 😂 I’m the queen of turning a recipe into something completely different. I love experimenting, swapping ingredients, and going with my gut — especially regarding gluten-free baking and cooking. This blog is where I get to share those adventures and hopefully help make your gluten-free life a little easier (and much more delicious).

When I’m not in the kitchen or the classroom, you’ll probably find me out exploring new restaurants (always asking a million gluten-free questions), spending time with my family, or working toward my degree in counseling.

The Flourless Explorer reflects who I am — a woman learning, growing, and loving through food — all while figuring out how to thrive gluten-free.

Thanks for being here. Let’s explore this together. 💛
